# Superlist vs DateSmith

The clearest difference is review sentiment: DateSmith at 100% against Superlist's 48%. DateSmith also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.5) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Superlist's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs every 9 months) and ratings volume (461 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Superlist sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $6.00 per month and DateSmith sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DateSmith holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Superlist has 461 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 48% of Superlist's written reviews are positive against 100% of DateSmith's.

Superlist ships an update every 9 days, DateSmith every 9 months. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
