# Presenter Remote vs NDI HX Camera

The clearest difference is rating: NDI HX Camera at 4.4 against Presenter Remote's 2.7. NDI HX Camera also leads on ratings volume (507 vs 6) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.4). Presenter Remote's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 4) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 5 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NDI HX Camera sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Presenter Remote asks for nothing beyond the download.

NDI HX Camera holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NDI HX Camera has 507 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 14% of Presenter Remote's written reviews are positive against 11% of NDI HX Camera's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Presenter Remote ships an update every 2 months, NDI HX Camera every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
