# Spin vs Visual Key

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Visual Key at none against Spin's 3. Visual Key also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). Spin's advantage is device support (5 vs 3). On price, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Spin sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Visual Key asks for nothing beyond the download.

Spin ships an update fortnightly, Visual Key every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
