# Animation Pocket vs VERA

The clearest difference is update cadence: VERA at every 5 days against Animation Pocket's every 30 months. Animation Pocket's advantage is iOS requirement (10.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Animation Pocket sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and VERA sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
