# Altis Gold vs Rekor

The clearest difference is update cadence: Rekor at every 3 weeks against Altis Gold's every 22 months. Rekor also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 13.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Altis Gold ships an update every 22 months, Rekor every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
