# Wavo PRO vs Drone Scanner

The clearest difference is update cadence: Wavo PRO at every 5 days against Drone Scanner's every 3 months. Drone Scanner's advantage is ratings volume (147 vs 6) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.2). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 1.8 for Wavo PRO against 1.9 for Drone Scanner. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Drone Scanner has 147 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 20% of Wavo PRO's written reviews are positive against 16% of Drone Scanner's.

Wavo PRO ships an update every 5 days, Drone Scanner every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
