# CILIP vs E

The clearest difference is update cadence: E at every 2 weeks against CILIP's every 10 months. E also leads on iOS requirement (12.4 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

CILIP ships an update every 10 months, E every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 19, 2026.
