# SoFresh App vs Greenlane

The clearest difference is ads: Greenlane at none against SoFresh App's shown. Greenlane also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). SoFresh App's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 months) and ratings volume (10K vs 871). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for SoFresh App against 4.9 for Greenlane. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SoFresh App has 10K ratings behind it against 871, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 64% of SoFresh App's written reviews are positive against 65% of Greenlane's.

SoFresh App ships an update fortnightly, Greenlane every 6 months. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
