# Foto Notes vs MemoLeaf

The clearest difference is ads: Foto Notes at none against MemoLeaf's shown. MemoLeaf's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs monthly). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Foto Notes sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and MemoLeaf sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
