# Runestone Text Editor vs Media Convertor

The clearest difference is rating: Runestone Text Editor at 4.7 against Media Convertor's 1.0. Runestone Text Editor also leads on ratings volume (2.1K vs 1) and chart position (#44 vs unranked). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Runestone Text Editor sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Media Convertor sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Runestone Text Editor holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Runestone Text Editor has 2.1K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
