# Progress vs Task Commander

The clearest difference is ads: Task Commander at none against Progress's shown. Task Commander also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). Progress's advantage is update cadence (every 4 weeks vs every 9 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Progress sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Task Commander sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
