# Progress vs Resolutions

The clearest difference is ads: Resolutions at none against Progress's shown. Resolutions also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.0). Progress's advantage is ratings volume (900 vs 7) and update cadence (every 4 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Progress sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Resolutions sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Resolutions holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Progress has 900 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Progress ships an update every 4 weeks, Resolutions every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
