# Fanytel vs EdgeTilt

The clearest difference is rating: EdgeTilt at 5.0 against Fanytel's 3.4. EdgeTilt also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 6 days vs every 2 months). Fanytel's advantage is ratings volume (239 vs 1) and chart position (#152 vs unranked). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fanytel sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and EdgeTilt sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $5.79 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

EdgeTilt holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fanytel has 239 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Fanytel ships an update every 2 months, EdgeTilt every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
