# MC Server Connector vs BedrockAnywhere

The clearest difference is update cadence: MC Server Connector at every 2 days against BedrockAnywhere's monthly. MC Server Connector also leads on review sentiment (34% vs 20%) and ratings volume (154 vs 29). BedrockAnywhere's advantage is monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 2.8 for MC Server Connector against 2.9 for BedrockAnywhere. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MC Server Connector has 154 ratings behind it against 29, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 34% of MC Server Connector's written reviews are positive against 20% of BedrockAnywhere's.

MC Server Connector ships an update every 2 days, BedrockAnywhere monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
