# GEELY DVR vs APTV

The clearest difference is review sentiment: APTV at 76% against GEELY DVR's 8%. APTV also leads on ratings volume (729 vs 1) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks). GEELY DVR's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. APTV sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. GEELY DVR asks for nothing beyond the download.

GEELY DVR holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: APTV has 729 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 8% of GEELY DVR's written reviews are positive against 76% of APTV's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

GEELY DVR ships an update every 6 weeks, APTV fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on September 27, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
