# GEELY DVR vs Deye Cloud

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Deye Cloud at 70% against GEELY DVR's 8%. Deye Cloud also leads on ratings volume (272 vs 1) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 weeks). GEELY DVR's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

GEELY DVR holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Deye Cloud has 272 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 8% of GEELY DVR's written reviews are positive against 70% of Deye Cloud's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

GEELY DVR ships an update every 6 weeks, Deye Cloud every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 27, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
