# FloatText vs 芦笋录屏

The clearest difference is review sentiment: FloatText at 86% against 芦笋录屏's 25%. FloatText also leads on ratings volume (332 vs 1) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 weeks). 芦笋录屏's advantage is monetization model (freemium vs subscription) and ads (none vs shown). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FloatText sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and 芦笋录屏 sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

芦笋录屏 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FloatText has 332 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 86% of FloatText's written reviews are positive against 25% of 芦笋录屏's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

FloatText ships an update every 2 weeks, 芦笋录屏 every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
