# FloatText vs Lusun Teleprompter

The clearest difference is monetization model: Lusun Teleprompter at free against FloatText's subscription. Lusun Teleprompter also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). FloatText's advantage is ratings volume (332 vs 8). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FloatText sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Lusun Teleprompter sells 9 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Lusun Teleprompter holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FloatText has 332 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two.
