# CREATIVATE vs AcuSpark2

The clearest difference is rating: CREATIVATE at 4.4 against AcuSpark2's 2.7. CREATIVATE also leads on update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 8 months) and ratings volume (402 vs 3). AcuSpark2's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and review sentiment (33% vs 18%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

CREATIVATE holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CREATIVATE has 402 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 18% of CREATIVATE's written reviews are positive against 33% of AcuSpark2's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

CREATIVATE ships an update every 5 weeks, AcuSpark2 every 8 months. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
