# CREATIVATE vs JellyCalc

The clearest difference is review sentiment: JellyCalc at 100% against CREATIVATE's 18%. JellyCalc also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.4) and update cadence (weekly vs every 6 weeks). CREATIVATE's advantage is ratings volume (405 vs 4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CREATIVATE sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and JellyCalc sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

JellyCalc holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CREATIVATE has 405 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 18% of CREATIVATE's written reviews are positive against 100% of JellyCalc's.

CREATIVATE ships an update every 6 weeks, JellyCalc weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
