# Power Life vs Formacore

The clearest difference is monetization model: Formacore at free against Power Life's free with in-app purchases. Power Life's advantage is ratings volume (4.6K vs 12). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Power Life against 5.0 for Formacore. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Power Life has 4.6K ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Power Life ships an update every 5 weeks, Formacore every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
