# Mela vs EggTime

The clearest difference is chart position: Mela at #154 against EggTime's unranked. Mela also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.0). EggTime's advantage is update cadence (every 11 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mela sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and EggTime sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
