# Routine vs Taskito

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Taskito at 72% against Routine's 37%. Taskito also leads on ratings volume (19 vs 2). Routine's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 7) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Taskito sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $3.49 per month. Routine asks for nothing beyond the download.

Routine holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Taskito has 19 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 37% of Routine's written reviews are positive against 72% of Taskito's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Routine ships an update weekly, Taskito every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
