# Fractal vs Morfff

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Morfff at none against Fractal's 4. Morfff also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs monthly) and iOS requirement (13.4 vs 17.0). Fractal's advantage is ratings volume (9 vs 1). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fractal sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Morfff asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Fractal against 5.0 for Morfff. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fractal has 9 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Fractal ships an update monthly, Morfff every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and September 23, 2026 respectively.
