# Fractal vs Symbix

The clearest difference is update cadence: Symbix at every 5 days against Fractal's monthly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fractal sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Symbix sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Fractal ships an update monthly, Symbix every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
