# Gravity vs COMIC MAKER STUDIO

The clearest difference is monetization model: COMIC MAKER STUDIO at free with in-app purchases against Gravity's subscription. COMIC MAKER STUDIO also leads on review sentiment (50% vs 25%). Gravity's advantage is ratings volume (35K vs 37) and update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Gravity sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and COMIC MAKER STUDIO sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for Gravity against 4.4 for COMIC MAKER STUDIO. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Gravity has 35K ratings behind it against 37, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 25% of Gravity's written reviews are positive against 50% of COMIC MAKER STUDIO's.

Gravity ships an update fortnightly, COMIC MAKER STUDIO monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and September 15, 2026 respectively.
