# Gravity vs Live Wallpapers

The clearest difference is monetization model: Live Wallpapers at free with in-app purchases against Gravity's subscription. Live Wallpapers also leads on review sentiment (35% vs 25%). Gravity's advantage is ratings volume (35K vs 2.5K). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Gravity sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Live Wallpapers sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for Gravity against 4.4 for Live Wallpapers. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Gravity has 35K ratings behind it against 2.5K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 25% of Gravity's written reviews are positive against 35% of Live Wallpapers's.

Gravity ships an update fortnightly, Live Wallpapers every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
