# Gravity vs Wallpaper Heart Selection

The clearest difference is monetization model: Wallpaper Heart Selection at free with in-app purchases against Gravity's subscription. Wallpaper Heart Selection also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.5). Gravity's advantage is ratings volume (35K vs 1) and update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Gravity sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Wallpaper Heart Selection sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Wallpaper Heart Selection holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Gravity has 35K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Gravity ships an update fortnightly, Wallpaper Heart Selection monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
