# Unibuddy vs ERIC

The clearest difference is review sentiment: ERIC at 66% against Unibuddy's 7%. ERIC also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and iOS requirement (12.4 vs 15.6). Unibuddy's advantage is ratings volume (106 vs 3) and update cadence (every 6 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ERIC holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Unibuddy has 106 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 7% of Unibuddy's written reviews are positive against 66% of ERIC's.

Unibuddy ships an update every 6 days, ERIC every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
