# Flux Mini vs Spiral Chorus

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Flux Mini at none against Spiral Chorus's 3. Flux Mini also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 15 months) and iOS requirement (9.3 vs 16.0). Spiral Chorus's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Spiral Chorus sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Flux Mini asks for nothing beyond the download.

Spiral Chorus holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 40 and 15 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 92% of Flux Mini's written reviews are positive against 89% of Spiral Chorus's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Flux Mini ships an update weekly, Spiral Chorus every 15 months. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
