# Tracking vs SeaPeople

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Tracking at none against SeaPeople's 8. Tracking also leads on update cadence (every 8 days vs every 5 weeks). SeaPeople's advantage is ratings volume (1.2K vs 4) and chart position (#83 vs unranked). On price, rating, ads and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SeaPeople sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Tracking asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Tracking against 4.9 for SeaPeople. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SeaPeople has 1.2K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Tracking ships an update every 8 days, SeaPeople every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
