# ASTB Prep vs AOA

The clearest difference is monetization model: ASTB Prep at free with in-app purchases against AOA's subscription. ASTB Prep also leads on ratings volume (434 vs 1). AOA's advantage is iOS requirement (14.0.0 vs 17.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ASTB Prep sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and AOA sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for ASTB Prep against 5.0 for AOA. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ASTB Prep has 434 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 94% of ASTB Prep's written reviews are positive against 100% of AOA's.
