# Poster Maker vs DigitalPost Maker

The clearest difference is monetization model: DigitalPost Maker at free against Poster Maker's free with in-app purchases. DigitalPost Maker also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Poster Maker sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and DigitalPost Maker sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Poster Maker ships an update every 2 months, DigitalPost Maker fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
