# Active Dispatch vs TDOT STATUS

The clearest difference is update cadence: TDOT STATUS at every 3 months against Active Dispatch's every 19 months. TDOT STATUS also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 17.6). Active Dispatch's advantage is ratings volume (20 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Active Dispatch against 5.0 for TDOT STATUS. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Active Dispatch has 20 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Active Dispatch ships an update every 19 months, TDOT STATUS every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
