# hbd vs Lago

The clearest difference is update cadence: Lago at every 2 days against hbd's fortnightly. Lago also leads on device support (3 vs 1). hbd's advantage is iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. hbd sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per month and Lago sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

hbd ships an update fortnightly, Lago every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
