# IFW vs BandScribe

The clearest difference is update cadence: IFW at every 2 days against BandScribe's weekly. IFW also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. IFW sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month and BandScribe sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

IFW ships an update every 2 days, BandScribe weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
