# ID Pocket vs Fast MSG

The clearest difference is update cadence: ID Pocket at every 2 months against Fast MSG's every 12 months. ID Pocket also leads on iOS requirement (14.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ID Pocket sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Fast MSG sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ID Pocket ships an update every 2 months, Fast MSG every 12 months. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
