# Huru vs MyVirtualPeer

The clearest difference is rating: Huru at 4.6 against MyVirtualPeer's 3.7. Huru also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 3) and ratings volume (103 vs 6). MyVirtualPeer's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 70%). On price, update cadence, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MyVirtualPeer sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Huru asks for nothing beyond the download.

Huru holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Huru has 103 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 70% of Huru's written reviews are positive against 100% of MyVirtualPeer's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Huru ships an update fortnightly, MyVirtualPeer every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
