# Fluent Reader Lite vs Feedster

The clearest difference is price: Fluent Reader Lite at Free against Feedster's $1.99. Fluent Reader Lite also leads on rating (3.6 vs 2.7) and in-app purchases (none vs 3). Feedster's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 months) and review sentiment (67% vs 47%). On ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Fluent Reader Lite is free to download; Feedster costs $1.99 up front. Feedster sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Fluent Reader Lite asks for nothing beyond the download.

Fluent Reader Lite holds the better App Store score, 3.6 against 2.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 10 and 3 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 47% of Fluent Reader Lite's written reviews are positive against 67% of Feedster's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
