# IPTV Ultra vs IPTV

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: IPTV at none against IPTV Ultra's 5. IPTV also leads on review sentiment (71% vs 42%) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 18.0). IPTV Ultra's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and rating (4.6 vs 4.2). On price, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. IPTV Ultra sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $3.39 per month. IPTV asks for nothing beyond the download.

IPTV Ultra holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: IPTV Ultra has 391 ratings behind it against 71, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 42% of IPTV Ultra's written reviews are positive against 71% of IPTV's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

IPTV Ultra ships an update every 6 weeks, IPTV every 5 weeks. Both last shipped on October 22, 2026.
