# emi online vs Oki

The clearest difference is rating: emi online at 4.9 against Oki's 4.4. emi online also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 11) and iOS requirement (13.4 vs 17.0). Oki's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 4 days vs every 11 months). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Oki sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $1.00 per month. emi online asks for nothing beyond the download.

emi online holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Oki has 391 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 36% of emi online's written reviews are positive against 64% of Oki's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

emi online ships an update every 11 months, Oki every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
