# e vs Prime Notes

The clearest difference is update cadence: Prime Notes at every 2 days against e's fortnightly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. e sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.49 per month and Prime Notes sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

e ships an update fortnightly, Prime Notes every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
