# Spider King vs 80s GAMES

The clearest difference is ads: 80s GAMES at none against Spider King's shown. Spider King's advantage is ratings volume (30K vs 4) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 18.0). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Spider King sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and 80s GAMES sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Spider King against 4.5 for 80s GAMES. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Spider King has 30K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Spider King ships an update every 3 weeks, 80s GAMES every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
