# Pro vs Ping

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Pro at none against Ping's 7. Pro also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). Ping's advantage is update cadence (every 11 days vs every 15 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ping sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. Pro asks for nothing beyond the download.

Pro ships an update every 15 months, Ping every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
