# WasTrans vs Earjoy Intelligence

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Earjoy Intelligence at none against WasTrans's 14. Earjoy Intelligence also leads on ratings volume (502 vs 28) and rating (2.6 vs 2.4). WasTrans's advantage is review sentiment (24% vs 13%). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WasTrans sells 14 one-off in-app purchases. Earjoy Intelligence asks for nothing beyond the download.

Earjoy Intelligence holds the better App Store score, 2.6 against 2.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Earjoy Intelligence has 502 ratings behind it against 28, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 24% of WasTrans's written reviews are positive against 13% of Earjoy Intelligence's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

WasTrans ships an update every 3 weeks, Earjoy Intelligence fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
