# WasTrans vs NebulaBuds

The clearest difference is rating: NebulaBuds at 4.4 against WasTrans's 2.5. NebulaBuds also leads on ratings volume (16K vs 28). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WasTrans sells 14 one-off in-app purchases and NebulaBuds sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

NebulaBuds holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NebulaBuds has 16K ratings behind it against 28, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 24% of WasTrans's written reviews are positive against 21% of NebulaBuds's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

WasTrans ships an update every 3 weeks, NebulaBuds every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
