# Stratword vs Scrivano

The clearest difference is rating: Scrivano at 5.0 against Stratword's 4.4. Scrivano also leads on ads (none vs shown). Stratword's advantage is ratings volume (97 vs 3). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Stratword sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Scrivano sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Scrivano holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Stratword has 97 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Stratword ships an update every 5 weeks, Scrivano monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
