# GhostGuard vs Ghost VPN

The clearest difference is review sentiment: GhostGuard at 82% against Ghost VPN's 0%. GhostGuard also leads on rating (4.6 vs 2.6) and ads (none vs shown). Ghost VPN's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks).
