# Garmin Messenger™ vs Join Tracker

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Join Tracker at 100% against Garmin Messenger™'s 20%. Join Tracker also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 weeks). Garmin Messenger™'s advantage is ratings volume (14K vs 10) and chart position (#86 vs unranked). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Join Tracker holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6.
