# TopMixtapes vs SPNDAT

The clearest difference is ads: SPNDAT at none against TopMixtapes's shown. SPNDAT also leads on update cadence (weekly vs monthly) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). TopMixtapes's advantage is review sentiment (92% vs 80%). On price, ratings volume, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TopMixtapes sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and SPNDAT sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SPNDAT holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 27 and 18 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 92% of TopMixtapes's written reviews are positive against 80% of SPNDAT's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TopMixtapes ships an update monthly, SPNDAT weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
